Busy

I just realized that I have not posted anything since the 18th of August. For those of you who read this blog regularly I apologize! I will do my best to keep up, but this Fall is going to be a beast. Prior to my accident in June of '09 I was taking 9 hours per semester in grad school. Since the accident I have been building back up and this semester I am back to 9 hours. Let me tell you this is going to be a tough semester! I fully expect to love all my classes, but I am taking Hebrew this year. I want to learn this language, but languages just do not come easy to me. For example, I have been married to my awesome wife for ten years but have yet to master the Albanian language.

This week is going to be an exceptionally busy one. We had a lovely Labor Day weekend with some of Olsa's family up north. The weather was crisp but nice, they told us that they will turn on the heat next week! We attended Rochester Hills C of C and had a wonderful worship experience. So that makes this week already a day shorter, I have classes on Tuesday and Thursday, then Bible Bowl is this Saturday, and I get to preach on Sunday. I am looking forward to next Sunday night when I can relax a little.

I hope you do not hear this as complaining, I have chosen to do all of these things. If I did not love the kids of Central Pike I would not push Bible Bowl. If I did not love school I just would not go, and if I did not love preaching I would not do it. It's just going to be a busy week. God has blessed me with a job that is fulfilling, a wife that is a constant supporter and a passion for his people. Just pray that he gives me strength to make through this week.

That is the great part about our God, he is faithful. I used to have a friend that would say, if God brought to it, he will see you through it. Or something like that. I do not walk this world alone. Wherever I go, whatever I do, God is there. He will be with me in class, he will be with us at Bible Bowl, he will be in the pulpit with me on Sunday. For that I am thankful! Do you know this God?

Good job, Josh, well stated and we love you and all that you do for Him! You truly are an extension of God in so many ways, to so many.
