This year I have passed or marked three major milestones in my life. As many of you know June marked a year since my accident at church camp. I am still healing in some ways and am just thankful to God for his help through all of this. On the 2oth of May, Olsa and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. This has been an amazing 10 years with my awesome wife and I could not have made it to where I am today without her.
Last Saturday I took a group of kids from here at Central Pike to Bible Bowl. We had a great time and I am soooo proud of these kids. It was 10 years ago around Bible Bowl time that I officially started ministering to the youth here at Central Pike. It is hard to believe but some of the kids that I work directly with now were just wee little tikes when I first began at CP. I am proud to have been able to stay with this church and work for this long.
I am not sure what my intention was when I first began here. I started out as an unpaid volunteer, then became part-time, and final moved into a full-time postilion. During this ten years I have transitioned from secular work to full time school. I was able to complete my undergrad in Bible from LU. I then transitioned to full time ministry and also now able to pursue my MDiv. This has been an exciting time and although there have been rough spots and nights when I was unsure what I would do next, I do not regret my time here. Olsa and I have been immensely blessed and look forward to what the future holds, whatever and wherever that may be.
All glory, honor and praise to God!
